Overview of the Museum
Intro

Liuyang City Museum was established in 1991 and is now a patriotism education base, social science popularization base and civilized unit in Changsha.

The new Liuyang Museum is a comprehensive historical museum integrating history, folklore, humanities and nature. It is located in the third museum at the intersection of Daowushan West Road and Nanniwan Road in Jili Street, Liuyang City. Construction started in August 2017 and it was officially opened to the public on June 25, 2021. The building area is 7997.05 square meters. There are more than 10,000 cultural relics in the collection, covering various historical periods, especially revolutionary relics, bronzes, ceramics, gold and silver wares, bamboo and wood, stone relics and folk relics. The first floor of the new museum is the "Liuyang Ancient History and Culture Exhibition" exhibition hall, the second floor is the "Liuyang Modern and Contemporary Outstanding Figures Exhibition" exhibition hall, temporary exhibition halls, etc., and the third floor is the youth activity education area, cultural relics warehouse, etc.

Successively served as Deputy Section Chief of Cultural and Arts Department of Liuyang Culture Center, Chief of Finance Industry Section of Liuyang Culture, Sports, Radio and Television Bureau, and Chief of Finance Department of Liuyang Culture, Tourism, Radio and Television Bureau.

Graduated from Hunan Normal University with a major in journalism in 2007. Joined the Communist Party of China in 2014. Served as a representative of the 16th, 17th, and 18th National People's Congress of Liuyang City and Deputy Chairman of the Liuyang City Federation of Social Sciences. Previously served as the team leader of the broadcasting department of Liuyang TV Station, director of the propaganda and education department of Liuyang Museum, deputy director of Liuyang Museum and director of Liuyang Confucian Temple Museum. Since entering the cultural and museum industry, she has been engaged in frontline interpretation, reception, and event planning, and has been fully responsible for the party building, propaganda and education, union, and external opening of Liuyang Museum and assisted in museum management and cultural relic collection. She has published multiple academic papers.

Female Han nationality, born in 1977, associate research curator of Liuyang Museum of Humanities and Social Sciences, Hunan. Her main research direction is cultural relic collection. She has published dozens of academic articles on free opening, cultural relic collection and collection research. She presided over the "Collection of Revolutionary Cultural Relics in the New Building of Liuyang Museum", which was selected as a key promotion project of the top 100 cases of cultural relic protection, utilization and innovation and development in Hunan Province. Member of Liuyang Municipal CPC Party History Expert Think Tank.

Graduated from the Provincial Party School with a major in economics and management in 1998 and has been working on the front lines of interpretation, reception, exhibition and other work at the Liuyang City Museum for many years. Currently serves as the Deputy Director of Liuyang City Museum and the Director of Wang Zhen Memorial Hall, actively participating in the construction of the new museum of Liuyang City Museum, as well as in museum management, intelligent museum construction, cultural relics collection and exhibition, and has published numerous academic papers.

She has served as a tour guide at the Wenjia City Autumn Harvest Uprising Meeting Site Memorial Hall and deputy director of the office of Liuyang City Cultural Relics Administration. Since entering the cultural and museum industry, she has been engaged in front-line interpretation and reception, event planning, and social education. She has fully participated in the construction of the new Liuyang Museum, museum management, smart museum construction, cultural relics collection and display and exhibition.

Female Han nationality, born in You County, Hunan Province in 1991. Graduated from Hunan Normal University with a master's degree in tourism management in 2016 and started working in the same year. She served as deputy section chief of the Planning and Industry Section of the former Liuyang Tourism Bureau, section chief of the Tourism Section of the Liuyang Culture, Tourism, Radio, Television and Sports Bureau, and deputy director of the Liuyang Museum. She is currently in charge of the office, collection department, and civilization creation.
