The main line is to display Liuyang's profound historical heritage and sort out Liuyang's cultural context of respecting literature and education. It comprehensively displays Liuyang's natural geography, historical culture, regional customs, and intangible cultural heritage; it displays the historical and cultural development process of Liuyang from an anthropological perspective, attaches importance to local education, and highlights the cultural characteristics and humanistic spirit that have been condensed in Liuyang for thousands of years.

Exhibition content: divided into two units: "Glorious Journey" and "Liuyang People Who Made Outstanding Contributions to the Liberation and Rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation (100 People)". Among them, the Glorious Journey selected ten important events, including the founding of the Academy of Mathematics, the Pingliuli Uprising, the dissemination of new culture, the creation of party organizations, the climax of the peasant movement, the meeting of Wenjia City, the establishment of the First Red Army, the construction of the Soviet regime, the War of Resistance against Japan and the National Salvation, and the welcoming of liberation, to show the outstanding contributions of Liuyang people in the history of modern revolution; the unit of "Liuyang People Who Made Outstanding Contributions to the Liberation and Rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation (100 People)" focuses on introducing the Liuyang heroes who emerged in the turbulent 100 years, showing and praising the Liuyang people who made outstanding contributions to national independence and rejuvenation in modern times, reflecting the social responsibility of Liuyang people to take the world as their own responsibility and the inheritance and promotion of the Liuyang spirit of self-improvement and daring to be the first.
